I have been anticipating the arrival of the new foundation from Rimmel, now I am a little bit of a snob when it comes to foundation as I usually stick to high end brands like Lancome, Clinque and Estee Lauder. I loved all the advertising campaigns that I had seen, so I was quite excited to try the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. It retails at £8.99 but currently has £3 off in Boots and possibly Superdrug, which is a pretty good deal if you ask me (30ml bottle)
The colour I have is 200 Soft Beige which in Glamour Magazine this month there is a free sample. It says "Our first foundation that visibly reawakens and illuminates skin with a radiant glow and a flawless natural-looking finish. Instant anti-fatigue and a Vitamin Moisturising Complex."
Wake Me Up isn't suitable for those of you who like a matte or a full coverage foundation. It is great as a light day time make up, it keeps your face look fresh and doesn't feel as though you are wearing make-up. The only downside of it is that it doesn't keep it's coverage all day. If you had any blemishes you would have to use a concealer or touch up during the day. But I expected that as it isn't very heavy.
I love the bright orange packaging for it and with a pump nose it is easy to keep the bottle clean and unblocked. The foundation smells of citrus, which is probably where it gets it's radiant glow aspect.
It's a bargain product... I recommend a purchase if you like a light day time feel!!
I love these sheer daytime foundations, I find the full coverage can feel to heavy and sicky sometimes when worn during the day, this would be a great summer foundation :) I hope you will follow my blog

Such a brilliant review. I do like my makeup to look and feel quite light in the day so this might just be worth a purchase for me, and your skin looks gorgeous here so that's all the convincing I need really!
