Olsen Idols: Mary Kate Inspired Look

Ah Mary Kate Olsen is such a "new" idol of mine... I'm in love her smudge eye make up and "grungy" hair. I say new because when the Olsen twins first came about as fashion icons, I wasn't particularly wowed by them. But I think as I'm getting older and my style is beginning to change, I can see the huge attraction. Out of the twins Mary Kate is my favourite purely because her style is less prim than Ashley. Below is my attempt at doing a Mary Kate inspired look on a budget: 

Make - Up

Foundation: Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in 200 Soft Beige (see post)

Concealer: MUA Hide and Conceal Stick in Medium (see post)

Bronzer: No7 Starfish Bronzer

Blush: No7 Cheek Tint in 10 Peach Silk

Eyebrows: Bourjois Ombre Stretch in 04 Flexi Brown (and my usual - see post)

Eyes: Rimmel Glam Eyes Mono 214 Jet Black and 17 Glitter Shadow in Spirit

Eyelashes: No7 Lash 10 Natural Volume (see post)

Lips: No7 Limited Edition Vital Brights Lipstick in Blossoming Pink (see post)

Hair


My hair was a day old so it is easier to get the messed up look. I don't actually use many products in my hair as I have quite dry hair so it tends to stick to itself. Being naturally wavy as well I just run my straighteners through a couple of sections to get some curls. Fixed with a bit of hairspray.
