What I say: I have such dry and damage hair and it doesn't help that I am dyed blonde with already dry hair. So when it comes to my hair care I need to use products which doesn't just mask the problem but tries to help it. I like that the shampoo is moisturising and the conditioner is thick enough to treat my hair though must be kept to the ends as it is really thick.

Pros:

- As fas as saying that it fixes your hair, I wouldn't know but my hair definitely has been more bouncy and shiney (without the cringey expression) 

- I love the 60 second shot - I keep getting so many compliments from people saying that it looks as though I have had my hair cut,.

-The price is reasonable and many places keep having it on a half price promotion - I think Superdrug is the current one. 

Cons:

- I find the TRESemme bottles super clumpy and awkward to use, they are too big and the bottles too firm.

- Out of this collection my least favourite item is the Leave in Conditioner as I find that it gives me the "I've still got conditioner in my hair" kind of feel which never feeks great. 

- The 60 second shot is similar to the deep conditioning and even though it helps with portion control as I always use way too much - the shot is an expensive way of doing it, so if I can use the right amount from the bigger bottle.

Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner

Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner - £6.99

Most of you know that I have extremely dry hair, it doesn't help that it is dyed blonde which will obviously make it worst. Now I bought this duo on the basis that I brought the conditioner in the mini version and loved it as well as using the Organix Coconut Hair Serum (see post). I like to use a shampoo and conditioner which are quite thick with a lot of nourishing oils in them. 

The Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo smells exactly like the conditioner which I was pleased about. The consistency of the product is quite thick and doesn't lather up a great deal which I find slightly disappointing and then it takes ages to rinse out. The first time I applied these I had that 'I haven't washed it out of my hair properly' look after I blow dried it and to be honest I think there is nothing worst. On a few tries since I have managed to get on with it but I personally perfer the conditioner if I used it with a lighter shampoo. 

Overall I would defiantly buy the conditioner again whereas I still can't get on with the shampoo. With longish thick hair, I don't really want to use a shampoo as it makes my hair look and feel flat. I mean they are pretty cheap and I think the conditioner is defiantly worth it over the shampoo. I tend to use the conditioner with my Lush Big Shampoo (see post) as the shampoo is quite clarifying and the conditioner is thick enough to put nourishment's back into my hair. 

Dove Hair Therapy

 

I have always been a little bit of a hair snob, and used top brands especially in the last 3-4 years. However, since graduating and on the hunt for full time work, funds have been a little on the low side. I am also trying to save to move in with my boyfriend so it is essential for me to scrimp on some aspects of my life. I was first attracted to the Dove Hair Therapy when they were half price in Boots before Christmas. I was amazed by how great the products are, I have since repurchased too. 

I have tried the Dove Intensive Repair shampoo & conditioner and the Dove Nourishing Oil Care shampoo & conditioner. I have then made the perfect combo for my hair by using the Intensive Repair Shampoo and the Nourishing Oil Care conditioner. And let me tell you, my hair has never felt softer or smoother. 

Shampoo - It says to leave your hair with 5x less split ends and repairing any damage which has been created. I love the smell of the Dove products and there new packaging so there is nothing to fault along those lines. The shampoo lathers up well and really feels as though it is cleaning deep rather than just rinsing it through the hair.

Conditioner - This is where the magic happens, combing through this conditioner it feels as though it is coating each hair with oil and making them falling smoothly. It contains vitamin E & F which helps nourish the hair, so it actually is trying to work through the hair rather than just to coat it.

Percy & Reed Moisturising Conditioner from Glamour Magazine April 2012

I'm a magazine junkie I buy Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire magazine religiously every month. And the April edition of Glamour I was excited about, I generally do love when my favourite magazine gives out good freebies. Yet I had heard a lot of hype around Percy and Reed hair products. Now with me, if you frequently read my blog you will know that I have the DRYEST hair ever!! It doesn't help the fact that I dye my hair blonde which makes it dryer so I'm always on the hunt for a miracle product. 


This Percy and Reed conditioner isn't a miracle product but it is pretty good. When I first used it, I wasn't impressed at all. I kinda put it to the back of my bathroom cupboard. The first attempt, I used it as a normal conditioner, as in I put it on and massaged it on the ends and just rinsed it off. About a month later I found the product again as I love the packaging which immediately draws me in. So I planned on using this for the second time, but I used it as a quick mask. I washed my hair before getting into the bath and then just popped this on whilst I sat in the bath. Then I washed it out and my hair felt beautiful, I was so impressed with this. I'm definitely going to repurchase and I hadn't even used the mask so if anyone knows what that feels like then I would love to know.

Lee Stafford Big Fat Healthy Hair

For anyone who reads my blogs a lot will know that I have a tendency to rant about my hair. It's natural hair colour is dark blonde and as you can tell by the photo's I obviously lighten my hair. I used to always get my hair coloured at a hairdressers but then it became too expensive and I switched to home colouring which has made my dry and damaged hair worst. ={ From this and a combination that my body when through a stage of lacking the vitamins in which it needed. So I went on a little bit of a hair haul where I brought so many different products. Once I had brought it all, I realised that using it all on my hair at once, it might not be so great. 


So now I am working my way through my collection, and this is my latest shampoo and conditioner. I love Lee Stafford's products ever since I brought the Hair Growth collection (See Post). With this Big Fat Healthy Hair shampoo and conditioner were £7.99 each, which for who they make my hair feel, and that isn't great, I thought that it did nothing for me. In fact that if it wasn't for the fact that I can't afford to waste the money I spend, I wouldn't be using it again. But for the moment I use it maybe twice a week just to try and use it up really. It obviously cleans my hair but doesn't make it feel amazing like other shampoo's and conditioners I have used. I think I need to get out of the habit of using the same branded shampoo and conditioner. Sadly, this won't be a repurchasing this but I will be getting more of the Hair Growth ones =] 

Herbal Essence Tousle Me Softly

This is another shampoo and conditioner post, though this one is a little bit of a rave because I've always loved the smell of Herbal Essence products though before they rebranded themselves I could never get on with them. With my wavy hair, I like to use curl enhancing products because I'm not over keen on blowdrying and styling my hair. As it is blonde and really in need of a cut I have to use products that nourish and put back in the moisture back in. I have been using this product on and off for about a year and I can say that this is a great everyday shampoo and conditioner. I am a little bit funny and I don't like to mix brands when it comes to different shampoo and conditioners but I think I am going to have to start doing that at one point. 

The bottom picture is my hair just washed and conditioned with the Herbal Essence Tousle Me Softly and  dried naturally with no other products. I was pretty pleased with the results as I am a lazy 'beauty' junkie so anything that makes my life easy. Herbal Essence is available in most stores in the UK and it retails at - £3.50 for 400ml - though it is frequently on offer.

Umberto Giannini Curl Friends

For the all of you who read my blog frequently, will know that I am always on the hunt for products that'll make my hair feel amazing. I struggle to find good shampoos and conditioners and when I find one usually after 3 months my hair tends to play up. Like most people I have my favourites but then like most bloggers I am curious of new products. 


When I was younger I used Umberto Giannini Blonde shampoo and loved it, so I thought I would try the curling shampoo and conditioner in their range. I have a mixed opinion on this and I am really glad that I had only brought little bottles to try because I won't be repurchasing these. I know that it is an expensive way of doing it as they I think they were about £1.78 for 75ml compared to the full size which are £4.89 for 250ml. 


The shampoo does what a shampoo should do, it makes my hair feel ultra clean and is able to be worked in fully to your hair. But, the conditioner doesn't make my hair feel like I have put any on. It doesn't detangle my hair or allow it to feel nourished, instead it makes the knots work. I like strong smelling products as well, and these don't particularly smell nice or of anything. I have to say for a premium brand I wasn't impressed at all and I probably had too high of an expectation. 


Has anyone tried this range and not liked it? Or is it just me?
