Dior Eye Show: Undressed Beige

Dior Eye Show - Undressed Biege - £18.65

So I know I haven't done a make-up shot in a while, it's just I have been getting a little camera shy and while I've been feeling a bit down everything about me has made me feel eurgh. But not today... I had one of those afternoons where I just wanted to play with make-up and I rediscovered this gem sitting at the bottom of my draw. Don't you just love it when you find an old favourite?

I remember when I first got this product I would wear it all the time, I loved the way to look and the way it complimented my complexion. In the photo above, I am wearing it with a nude eye shadow as well to add some contouring to the lids. The eyeshadow is an odd formula, it is kind of like a mouse consistency which smooths onto your lids easily. It doesn't fall into the creases of your eyelids either which is a bonus. I tend to apply this with my fingers because if I use the a brush, I find more product ends up on the brush than my eyes. I could try it with an eye sponge though... that might work? I just love this and I am so glad I have rediscovered it for the party season :)

Have you found any favourite products lurking in the back of your draw??

  3. Oh I've been looking for a colour and effect like this for ages (Lancome used to have a similar shade but discontinued it a few years ago), so will be definitely having a proper look at this eye shadow. Thank you for the review! x

  12. A sponge actually ends up absorbing more product than what goes on your skin, or at least for most liquid/cream products. That's a very pretty color, though!

I don't actually have a ton of makeup, but I like using products that I haven't been using for a while.

I am known to have days that are spent trying all my old products and having a pamper afternoon and I love the old gems you find in the bottom of the drawer (or bottom of my vanity case in my case!)

  19. It looks lovely! I really have to check some of my make-up drawers. I'm sure I could find some really great products in there that I've completely forgotten about.

  20. I really love that color! Subtle but it pops...now if only it would pop on my skin colour-that's the problem I have with nudes and bronze colours.
